2017 Welcome BBQ Party
Finally after so many rainy days and impatient students the P&C held the postponed Welcome/ End of Term BBQ.
While the band was jamming with their great music the adults were hanging around the food watching their children having an absolutely amazing time. The perfect weather created a huge turn out and everyone had their happiest faces on.
Once most people got their food it was time for speeches. Ms Proud acknowledged the hard work of the three teachers who were leaving Newtown Public School – Mrs. Nathan, Ms. Coad and Mrs. Trezise. She spoke about how lovely they have been to our school community and presented the three teachers with a bunch of fantabuolous flowers.
When the speeches ended, all the students crammed around the handball courts waiting for the music to start. Once the music started the adults stood around laughing and filming Ms Coads last dance routine for now…
It turned out that the all students had such an awesome time and we hope it will be good as good next year.
