Learning together at NPS

At Newtown Public School we work with teachers and students to change the way we plan learning to engage a new generation of students entering a rapidly changing work. Our school vision statement encapsulates this shared goal.

Teaching the essential skills of literacy and numeracy remain the cornerstone of learning however in addition to this the 4Cs  of 21st Century Learning are seen as critical for a child’s success in order to thrive in a transformational world.

You can also find instructions on how to register for the Premiers Reading Challenge as well as how to log a book that you have read.

Accelerated Reader is a program designed to support students' independant reading and to assist teachers monitor and guide students.
