Newtown Public School P&C created the Second Hand Uniform Shop (SHUS) in answer to our community’s request for a sustainable option when it comes to school uniforms.
SHUS is an opportunity to donate uniforms to the P&C to prevent quality items becoming landfill.
SHUS also creates an avenue for income to come back to the school. All money received goes directly towards funding much needed resources.
Buying through SHUS is an investment in Newtown Public School.
The SHUS is open online on Tuesday of Week 3 and Week 7 each term.
Orders can be placed here and will take approximately one week to process after the closing date.
Orders are distributed to the students via the office.
No returns will be accepted for change of mind.
No hats or bags are sold via the SHUS Online Store.
The success of SHUS is only possible based on donations from our community.
Please make your donations to the school office.
IMPORTANT DONATION INFORMATION:
We only accept:

PLEASE DO NOT DONATE:
It is important that you filter your donations first as our parent volunteers spend many hours sorting the uniforms, they do not have time to take other items to charity bins.
The Second Hand Uniform Shop is run on a not-for-profit basis by parent volunteers and is overseen by Newtown Public School P&C.
Email enquires are welcome between shop times. However, fulfillment can ONLY take place during Week 3 and Week 7 each term.
