2024 Read-A-Thon

Commencing from Monday 5^th to Monday 19^th August all students will celebrate & strengthen their literacy with a whole School ReadAThon.

Students are encouraged to read daily to achieve their personal reading goal, whilst contributing to their class’ collective reading goal. Friends and family can sponsor students. Not only will they enjoy being involved but it will also encourage students to reach their goal and raise much needed funds for the school.

2024 newtown public school read-a-thon

Our goal is to create a positive and fun environment to challenge each student to read their 20 minutes a day and more. Motivation will be:

·         Reach their individual student goal

·         Each class working as a team to win the honour of Class Reading Champions of 2024 – most tokens collected

·         Each class working as a team to win the honour of Class Fundraising Champions of 2024 – most money raised

·         Raising money through sponsorship

Winners will be announced at the book week parade on Tuesday 20^th August.
