2020 NPS SCHOOL CHRISTMAS TREES
UNFORTUNATELY, SCHOOL TREES ARE CURRENTLY SOLD OUT OF CHRISTMAS TREES FOR 2020.
Newtown PS P&C were advised by School Trees this afternoon that their current wholesaler cannot supply any additional trees for us this year.
Sales throughout all the school's who have signed up with School Trees this year have been higher than anticipated, much more than last year. This is possibly due to impact of COVID-19 restrictions and that more families at home this Christmas.
School Trees are urgently trying to source more trees to meet this demand.
This is unexpected and frustrating for those families who have not yet ordered.
We should have an update within the next 24-48 hours.

2020 SCHOOL TREES – CHRISTMAS TREE FUNDRAISER
There is nothing more than Chirstmas-y than the smell of a beautiful live Christmas tree at home.
This final fundraiser of the year was introduced to Newtown Public School in 2017 with great success and positive feedback. Simply order your Christmas Tree online and pick it up from NPS on Saturday 5th December.
For every tree purchased, Newtown Public School receives $22! Last year we raised over $1,000 for the school – and that’s from just buying something that most would buy from a store this time of year anyway.
You can also order tree stands and Christmas puddings.
The past three years have seen thick beautiful trees with an average height of 180cm. Keep them well watered and they can last well in to January.
