Peer Bridge Program

A new school, a new world

Starting high school marks an important milestone for a young person. It can be both exciting and intimidating, from adjusting to a larger, more complex environment, to the increased academic demand that requires greater independence.

The Peer Bridge Program supports incoming Year 7 students as they enter high school, and their families.

Newtown Neighbourhood Centre in partnership with Newtown Public School and Newtown High School of the Performing Arts (NHSPA), this pilot program offers you and your child activities, workshops, information, and ongoing support from our Youth Worker.
