School events bring learning to life and help shape Newtown Public School. Via participation, students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their achievements. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and witness their child's growth and development outside of the home.

Cross Country 2026

Years 2-6 competed in the annual cross country carnival at Sydney Park. You can view the highlights of the day here.

P&C meeting

Date: Tuesday 28 April

Time: 6.15pm-7.15pm in the school library

Join our vibrant P&C.  Meetings are held on the 2nd Tuesday and 8th Thursday of each school term. All parents and carers are welcome to attend.

Athletics Carnival

Date: Thursday 4 June
