P&C Election Day Fundraiser

WE NEED YOUR HELP!

The Federal election is coming up on Saturday 21 May, and it is our patriotic duty to sell Democracy Sausages to the community. And it is also an excellent fundraising opportunity for our school!

NPS P&C will run an Election Day Extravaganza, complete with a BBQ, Cake Stall, Book Stall, Flower Stall, and Raffle. We will even have a band perform to liven things up! The polling booths for the election will be located in the NPS hall and the P&C stalls will be located on the asphalt outside the hall. 

HOW CAN I HELP?

We’re glad you asked! There are several ways that you can assist:

1)    Prior to the Election:

• Book stall: We need donations of good quality, second-hand children’s books. Please drop off by 13 May to the school office where there will be a tub for collection.
• Raffle: We need donations of high-quality goods or services that will entice people to buy tickets. By 13 May, please email a description of the item/gift certificate to president@newtownpandc.org
• Cake Stall: We need donations of delicious baked goods. Please drop off to the school office on Friday, 20 May, or bring them to the cake stall on the day. Please include a list of ingredients with your baking.

2)    Election Day:

• We need commitment from a minimum of 50 volunteers across the day, working in 2hr shifts, assisting with: BBQ cooking, serving customers. processing payments, managing the book and cake stalls, selling raffle tickets, setting up, taking down. Please sign up here.
